Once a humble auto garage, The Iron Whisk now boasts a renovated interior and lives out a new legacy as a modern brunch bistro in the quiet Village of Cobden, IL. Just south of SIU Carbondale and in the heart of The Shawnee Hills Wine Trail, this little gem is a destination for students, travelers and foodies alike.
There are always new ways to eat good food. Our breakfast and brunch fare takes the most important meal of the day to next level. We put our own innovative touch on classic offerings and strive to push beyond the mundane dining experiences with which many of us have become bored. House Smoked Bloody Mary
Our Bloody Mary is more of an event than a simple libation. We begin by smoking our own tomatoes, seasoned with our proprietary blend of spices. When in season, we use the freshest local tomatoes available. We marry our house-made mix with vodka and a loaded skewer that is fit for the hungriest brunch goer.
